My last born brother married five years ago. He had been depending on our parents to earn good living together with his wife.
Mum and dad decided to direct him to start the new life. They said that he should learn how to lead independent life. They called other elders to advise them on how they can start their new life whereby the couple would be responsible to source food and other family necessities themselves. We locally call this as fuwa (a couple preparing food for themselves without parents or guardians’ assistance).
