As was scheduled to undergo surgical process, I arrived at the hospital early at around 6:45am. I was together with my wife. I met the doctor who advised me to wait for the specialist. I was referred to admission nurse to prepare a place for me before going to the theatre. I was still hungry as was advised. I was told to wait because there were many patients who were undergoing surgical process.
3:30pm, theatre. I was taken to the theatre where I started trembling with fear. There was a big surgical team inside the room. The process started at 3:47pm and then taken out of the room on the wheel bed for the admission room. My wife was just quite as if she was about to cry. “I was about to cry with fear, I was not expecting that you could come and meet me alive. I was just keeping on playing for you” she told while giving breast-feeding to the young boy, junior. “Do you want some food?” she asked me. I told her to wait for an hour.
At around 8evening I felt painful. After taking painkillers, I felt comfortable. Then my wife brought me some food to take. “I am now feeling better after taking those painkillers” I told her. “Thank you for that, praised the only Almighty,” she concluded.
“I was failing to take lunch and I am as hungry as you are. I could not take any food whilst you are not” she told me. I took nsima without any difficulties.
