Buffaloes

My friend Joe got me early morning. He asked me to accompany him to almost 10km away bushes from my own village Chinangwa. He wanted to find out if his firewood that someone cut for him was not stolen. Before reached the place, I suspected buffalo newly steps. Joe did not believe, but I told him to step forward by two meters to the bear clay soil where he appreciated that buffaloes stepped and assured me that they were around to place. We turned back home for the fear of that.

At 4:00pm a lot of women gathered at my brothers residence to practice some traditional songs for my due engagement ceremony. Two young men were leading those women by drumming four drums and a trumpet locally made from the pipe and a half cut plastic bottle tied at the end of it. Those drummers influenced a lot of young ladies to keep on dancing up to around 8evening.

Hey Elod ~ it’s cameraman Tim and I am wishing you well and sending you love to you and your future wife.
I would love to witness the dancing and drumming that was being practised at your village and the trumpet sounds ingenious.

This blog makes great reading for me here in Wales and I remember you and the Shire Valley as I read it.
    Much Love Tim
