The woman constable was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment for assaulting and kidnapping a baby belonging to the assaulted woman. The constable said she agreed with mother to the baby to buy it and she paid a deposit of Mk200.00. The woman constable was found guilty for assaulting and attempting adoption.
