Two teenage blood sisters married one man

Things might sometimes happen and stopped different minds working properly. A 15 and 13 year old blood sisters married one man. School going children whose both parents passed away some past 5 years ago were brought up by their grandmother. A man who once married a bargirl persuaded them to fall in love. “I have failed to advise these granddaughters. It is something I can experience as one major obstacle in life. I was once tipped that the elder one was in secret love with this man. It was later terrible when I also told that the other was also sleeping together with the man. I can assure you that there no any parental approval” the grandmother told me when interviewed. I later asked her to let me refer the nonsense behaviour to human rights activists for help. It is a breach in Malawi a girl child to marry before 18 years.

Father vs first born son

I was arriving home at 7:50 pm from Blantyre where I attended classes. My wife Bertha prepared food (nsima) with vegetable and beans that I enjoyed. I connected my camera to the hp laptop to download pictures.

“Can please lower down the radio because I can hear that others are quarrelling” my wife asked. I got out of my house together with my wife. We managed to learn that a father was insulting his first born son on presence of the son’s wife. It was very sympathetic when the father took almost an hour to spell very abnormality words to his son. The son remained silent. “That’s why you abandoned our mom. Our mom is starving just because you were deceived by this stupid woman who almost tempted to bewitch her”. Said the son when his father was leaving for his home where he lives.

Young hidden girl found enclosed

It was 3 days later when the girl’s parents realised that the missing of their daughter should be reported to Chikwawa police. A certain young boy revealed where Annie was enclosed.

Annie was taken out of the man’s house at around 9 am when the man was out for his business. It was very sorry for many people were not expecting that the young girl could have hidden instead of going to school.

Cattle starving

The shortage of rain contributed the scarcity of grass which is animal feed. Cattle had been hanging around in the village trying to graze in between stones. Shire Valley has not received enough rain that can stimulate the growth of any plant.

Dismissed man cried under cane shelter

Early morning irrigators, smut roguers and other maintenance workers were located in their areas of work. One of the cane guards who was suspected of masterminding thieves to steal canes was advised to remain when others were left for their works respectively. The farm manager in collaboration with two supervisors disciplined him. Finally he was found that he breached company laws. The farm manager ordered his dismissal. “What am I going to on this year’s drought out at my home? I am totally desperate” complained the cane guard.

Kasinthula management and farmers have been complaining of cane theft almost every year. The surrounding community is playing a role on Kasinthula cane damage. Cane farmers and Kasinthula worried when learning that one of the cane guards masterminded the cane theft instead of controlling.

It was not that meal I was expecting at lunch

It was still hot and dry spell of Shire Valley. I woke up and took bath. My wife Bertha prepared breakfast for the family to take before leaving for various businesses.

I left home for work at 6:25 am. I was called to attend a meeting by my management to present on November service report. We continued working at lunch hour.

A new school opening day

For many years schools in Malawi have been opening early January being the first term. Government changed that schools should open early December. This was considered that exams days for primary and secondary schools were sat during summer periods.

The hot weather in Malawi are very hard that bring exhausted conditions which are not suitable when writing exams. Government decided to have exams written during winter period like May-August. Many Malawians recommended the new development that would student feel comfortable when writing their various exams.

Mitole FC down at home

Mitole Football Club supporters were angry following the 4-0 defeat by Zomba Medicals. Mitole being the hosting team had motivated support. Some supporters left the pitch before the match ended. Mitole had been a good team in Chikwawa Central. It was so unfortunate when Mitole goal keeper deflected the ball into his own net while trying to parry it away.

New advanced diploma syllabus

I left home for Dyeratu depot to board bus for Blantyre to attend classes. I found ten fellow college mates already arrived at the campus. Our Legal Framework lecturer bought a new development. He firstly advised us before he taught that there was a slight change in syllabus. We asked him to provide us with syllabus modules for us follow easily when studying.

Prepared Fairtrade sales invoices

In the morning around 8:00 am, I connected myself to internet. I found a request from one of the fair-trade sugar customers. There were 4 invoices worthy more premiums for Kasinthula Cane farmers, workers and surrounding to benefit. Many people who understood the potential when selling sugar on fair-trade deal always wish all the best to the fair-trade product consumers for they promote their daily living in socio-economic sustainability.
