After breakfast I left for Blantyre for my studies. I was late because the first four minibuses from Nchalo were already full of people. I boarded at around 7:50am, and arrived Blantyre at 8:20am. I found my classmate Judith waiting for me to start classes. Our lecturer encouraged us to work so hard for exams are just about. He gave us some handouts to have photocopies. I failed to pay for photocopy because I had transport only and my friend Judith paid for me. I was arriving at Dyeratu Trading Center at around 3:00pm, and hired a bicycle to lift me home at Chinangwa village. My wife called me that her elder sister and her sister in law came home to visit us.
Late afternoon a phase two farmers was fighting with his wife because the man misused the money he received as his advances. The wife had a mouth bleeding. The issue was taken to the village headman who ordered the husband to share the advances on the presence of the village headman. The village headman also appealed to all men basing in Chinangwa village not to ill-treat their wives because the other malpractice shall be referred to police.
