Letter from England

When I was leaving for the work my wife asked me to her fresh mangoes, but I failed because mangoes were not yet at market when I was going home for lunch. Upon arriving home the first question was where her mangoes were. I promised to buy her when knocking off around 5:00pm. I forced myself to buy for her because she was not happy when I went home for lunch without those fresh mangoes.
When I went back to the office I used one of the computers whose owner went to the bank with phase two chairperson to update balances for phase two farmers burial fund account.
I enjoyed my dinner because my wife Bertha and I had fresh fish (chambo) as relish. I bought that fish at Mk200.00 per one kilogram, tomatoes costing Mk50.00 and onions at Mk20.00. And I bought sweet potato that cost Mk100.00 for breakfast.

I received a letter from abroad, UK sent by Fiona Thomson of Traidcraft one of the Kasinthula’s biggest customers on Fairtrade deal in terms of cane sugar. She and Richard, industrious photographer were wishing me good luck on my new life following my marriage with Bertha on July, 28,2007. When I got home Bertha was so happy for receiving best wishes from UK. “It is something very special my dear having best wishes from Fiona of UK”. Bertha told me while smiling.
