Around 3:39am while a lot of people were asleep in their respective houses earthquake shocked lots of lives. It was like a strange bomb and everybody even the elderly ones also said it never happened. When I got outside the house I heard lots of people talking of it. One of the best friends told me that his wife was trying to escape, but nowhere to go whilst inside the house. This earthquake begun from South- West district of Malawi, Mwanza. Some over 50 people were fled from their houses in Southern East district, Thyolo and some organizations are working assisting the needy. Some houses fell due to this catastrophe.
I woke up at around 4:30am, preparing to start working under irrigation department. My field manager welcomed me and I was given back the fields which I was incharge.
