When I was studying at home I experienced cloud cover and became too hot. A couple of time there was threatening frightening and thunders showing rainy season. Most of the times when Shire Valley, (Chikwawa and Nsanje) districts is about to receive rain the weather becomes so hot.
At around 5:13pm it started raining with thunders and frightening. Nobody could even walk because there was also a heavy wind blowing from Southern part of Malawi. When it started raining my wife complained where to cook because the kitchen was not yet roofed. The rain was not enough for crop planting on the areas of subsistence farming.
