I left for work doing some other maintenance work. I had 20 laborers whom I was in charge of. 17 of them completed their tasks and the other three obtained halves.
After knocking off and took lunch at home my wife and I went to my garden to plant maize as one of the subsistence farming which I do inspite of being cane farmer at Kasinthula Cane Growers. I was left behind for most of the people had finished planting different crops in their respective gardens.
Around 8am I went to hospital with my wife for she caught malaria. She was assisted so quickly. I was cycling my brother’s bicycle for mine was not in good condition.
Chemical weeding.
At 2pm I was at my garden doing chemical weeding for I was late to plant. I had my friend who assisted me drawing water. He was using my bicycle drawing water from the phase two dam. I applied almost 1 ha. I had to wait for 7 days to plant. When I was applying some other two men asked me the name of the chemical, but I told them that chemicals should not be applied anyhow. I confirmed them that consultation before using chemicals is very important.

I paid bye to those whom I used to befriend during my staying at Chemussa. They wished me good luck when I would be going back home to Chikwawa after writing exams. My friend escorted me to the deport where I boarded a minibus for Blantyre at school. I started writing my fourth subject at 9am. In the exams room there were some candidates who were writing other different exams as what I was doing. I finished writing at noon hour.
After writing I was so amazed because it started raining heavily so that I failed to leave for home Chikwawa. I was leaving the school campus for the deport at 1:43pm. I was arriving Chikwawa at 3:27pm. I boarded a hired bicycle, which I paid $0.36 to reach my home, that’s Chinangwa village.
When my wife saw me she was so happy and she ran and hugged me.
I left early around 7am for school. We started writing at 9am sharp. I was advised to do the other paper alone on the other day, while my friends were completing on that day.
At Chemussa we starved for we had no money to buy relish for nsima. I went to Limbe, that’s within Blantyre to borrow some money for survival.
I left Chemussa for school to start writing exams. It was so sad for I was denied to enter in exams room for I did not finish paying processing fee, which was amounting to $14.29. I had no any money so that I could manage to cover that balance. I called my young brother to bring me that money which I left for my wife to run home while I was away in Blantyre. My young brother came and got me at school while I was out of exams room. He gave the money and I paid.
I started writing the first subject, which was Community Development at 1:30pm, and I was comfortable. At that time my fellow candidates were writing their second subject, Gender Issues. I was completing at 4pm as it was indicated on the exams paper that it was for 3hours.
We met again on Sunday to review other remaining past papers. My friend Katemba advised me to buy another cell phone for he was trying o communicate me, but he failed. I told him that I could not manage to buy a cell phone, because I had no other money that I could use for purchasing that. Since my phone was lost I had been forced by other different friends to have another one for they were missing me.
I left for school at Blantyre Business College (Blantyre campus) to have some reviews in preparation for Monday exams. We met and discussed a lot till 5pm. We went through different past papers.
