The Kasinthula Premium Committee had a meeting at 2pm where members discussed much on how to use premium income for the last quarter 2007. I as ex secretary, but now working as an advisor on Fairtrade issues attended the meeting. I advised the premium committee members to be committed to the outstanding corrective actions and conditions. I also advised the members to comply fully with the Fairtrade standards so that farmers and employees as well as surrounding communities should benefit on different aspects. On electricity progress I reported that Electricity Supply Corporation Of Malawi is soon connected to the clients, that’s Chinangwa residents.
