It was sunny and I left for the work at 6am. At 8am, farmers in collaboration with traditional leaders had a general meeting. On that meeting, various decisions and resolutions were made. The trustees reported on what they resolved at the board as well as at the trust. The trustees reported the phase three operational discussion progress. The phase three is an extension to Kasinthula Cane Growers plantation with an aim of giving the farmers access to own and be beneficiaries to that productivity. European Union pledged to provide 2.5m Euros to implement this project. “With the phase three as an extension we expect to increase our sugar volume especially at fairtrade deal.” I said commenting on what the phase two chairperson reported.
After that meeting I continued working up to knocking off hour, 5pm. I was arriving home at 5:45pm, and found my wife preparing some food for me.
