Harvesting maize

It was sunny and thick cloud cover morning. As cattle had damaged my maize cobs in the garden for several times my wife and I decided to harvest early even though some of them seem not to be well dried. I asked some of my friends to assist me doing that job. We started harvesting early around 5:38 am. We were finishing at 11 am. I used my brother farm cart as a means of transporting my maize home. It was one full farm cart. Soon after harvesting, it started showering. My wife and my brother’s wife had to rush home for it was showing to be heavy rainfall.

In the afternoon, Henry and I agreed to watch football match that was between Chinangwa FC and Mitole Reserve FC, but we failed to leave for Dyeratu for it was raining.

Late in the afternoon, my young brother got me at home reporting what I asked him to ask on my behalf. I asked him to enquire at Share World Open University about the tuition fee and other costs. He told me that only tuition fee was Mk180, 000 per semester. I got it so expensive that I can not afford even though I am going to deal with diploma 2.
