It was Easter holiday, and most of the church members from Chinangwa village left for almost 7 kilometers away village to have prayers over the night. While other member were singing and dancing a member of the choir and a certain man who was suspected of agreed a girl to meet at the village where the service was taking place were found secretly found hiding and playing sex. Some men who were chosen to control and insure security during night prayers found them after realizing that the two were not around at the premises. They were taken to the church leaders who claimed them that they ashamed the whole Christians who attended that ceremony. Many were so furious when they heard of that naughty news because the man who had that young woman was once responsible for one of the choir members’ pregnant whom he did not admit being responsible.
My cousin’s husband asked a piece of work to do. Around 4 pm, he got me with an aim of working and being paid. He asked me to pay him in advance before doing or even showing him the intended work. I advised him to come the other day to show him the work and start working then I pay him later. He did not come in the following morning. I recognized that he just wanted to take my money and rush without working.

I asked Robert Dziweni to withdraw my balance at my local bank on my behalf. Unfortunately, the bank cashier refused to assist him even though he had all requirements. I was so shocked because the money was intended to be used for preparation of this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education as a matter of upgrading.
In the evening, my wife prepared nsima with fresh vegetables, which was so nice because she added grounded groundnuts. My friend Alfred sent his son to take relish at home for him because he recognized that it was nice relish.

For I had been aspiring of upgrading Malawi School Certificate of Education passing marks, I decided to make it this year since 1999, when I sat for it. I went to register so that I could sit for it this year (2008). I was advised all procedures to follow in order to write as an external candidate. I told the teacher who was advising me that I would pay all costs soon after payment.
I used my young brother’s bicycle. My bicycle had been not in good condition for most of the times.

That man had been suspecting his wife of having a secret lover. On this day, she paid an excuse that she was going to the market buying relish. The man followed her without her knowledge. Suddenly he saw her meeting and hugging with a certain man so lovely. It was then he fulfilled his daily suspicion. He let them move and observe where they were going to have their discussions. The two went to a certain bottle store where they were taking some beers. The husband to that unfaithful woman arrived at the bottle store and asked her what she was doing and who that man with her was. The woman told her husband that he was nothing and he should get out of that place for they were enjoying. Her husband was so furious and he pulled her where she sat. The woman with her teeth cut the husband’s finger and he fainted at the spot.
Early in the morning, I went to buy fresh cow milk for breakfast. My wife prepared a nice rice porridge, which we all enjoyed. My mother told me that if I could manage to wake up early and suckle milk I could every morning go and do that instead of buying, which she said was so costing.

A magistrate who was arrested last year on December 06 and answering corruption charges, was imprisoned for 3 years 6months. The man was found guilty for he failed to defend himself. The Malawi government is encouraging of corrupt free nation. Most of the people did not wonder on that judgment for he was being suspected of malpractice following the way he was passing out several judgments.
A cane farmer who is one of the Chinangwa basing people found (red handed) asking someone’s wife to fall in love. That man asked the other man’s wife to fall in love while the owner was listening. He was getting whatsoever he was talking to his wife while hiding inside his garden. As of now, the man is so ashamed whenever he meets the wife’s owner.

I woke up early in the morning and before church preparations, I was informed that there was no any money for breakfast. I told my wife that it was so bad to have no breakfast before attending church service. I got my mother at my parents’ residence in order to ask him any money she could manage to provide me. My mother provided me with Mk50, which was almost equivalent to 35 cents. We just use that money for church offerings. “You have to know that remuneration packages are not enough to make a person sustain the whole month buying bread, potatoes as well sugar for daily breakfast. We have to be accustomed to these situations, but other people do survive,” I told my wife.
At the church, the preacher read 1 John 3v1-6, where he taught about the children of the God. He encouraged the church members to be as faithful as God’s children as Jesus is. After attending church services, I found a visitor at my home. She was a friend to my wife. I welcomed her. The visitor was leaving at around 3:40pm.

One of the Kasinthula employees whose duty was to apply herbicides in the cane fields stole some appliances from his boss’s house while with his family members were asleep. That person together with his compliance who is still at large broke into the house through a window. Unfortunately, the man (owner) of the house was down with malaria even though his wife noticed and cried for the help he hardly woke up.
The following day it was found out that those thieves had to hide those stolen items at their friend at Dyeratu trading centre, which is almost a kilometer from where goods were stolen. One of the thieves was suspected for he was the one who plastered the broken house. The issue was reported to Chikwawa Police Station that tried to fetch for the suspected person and was arrested. After the man was punished, he revealed where he kept those goods. The man was in custody waiting to answer charges of breaking the house and robbery. His friend had been missing since that scene. Most of the employees were so worried for having heard that fellow worker stole at their boss’s residence. It was so shameful.
Late in the afternoon, my friend Alfred called me at his house. He told me that he wanted to take supper with me. We enjoyed that supper because it was guinea fowls (nkhanga) that is our local calling. It was nsima and I congratulated his wife for preparing that good meal. After taking supper, we were just listening to nkhani za m’maboma programme, which informs different scenes taking place nation wide. I went home to bed late around 10 night.

Early in the morning, my wife escorted me to the garden for I failed to carry water. She left me soon after starting working. She went earlier to attend the ceremony than I was leaving at 1pm.
After knocking off, I prepared lunch for myself. I cleansed a pot and fetched firewood then I started preparing nsima. It was so hard to prepare nsima because women are only specialists in preparing nsima. My friend got me while cooking that nsima and he just bought me biscuits and a bottle of cocacola before taking nsima, which I was cooking. I had him taking together the food I was preparing.
Late in the evening, while I was listening to the radio, I heard my wife my wife crying inside the house. “A bat was about to hit me while I was setting beddings,” she told me while trembling. I advised her not to fear a bat for it does not bite. Most of the people especially where I live, are so superstitious of bats being sent by other witchcrafts to make someone experience misfortune or got sick. When bats are flying inside the house, women are so shocked. They can even fail to get asleep inside the house especially if a man is away from home.

Before taking breakfast, I left for the garden to continue planting winter maize crop. My wife got me at the field with already prepared porridge. I enjoyed that breakfast for it was prepared of white maize flour and fresh cow milk. While I was busy, my cousin’s husband informed me about the death of one of the Kasinthula cane farmers Jameson Maviko, a former phase one chairperson. It was so sad for he was one of the industrious farmers who had aspiration the Kasinthula’s transformation on his leadership.
In the afternoon, I turned up back to the garden to clear some bushes in preparation of the other day planting area. I was supposed to go to the field at around 2pm, but due sunny and hot condition, I was leaving at around 4:30 pm.

When I woke up in the morning, I felt some changes as a means of recovering. I was just shelling my maize and managed to shell one full 50 kg bag. At around 10 am, I was called at the office to attend a Fairtrade Premium meeting, but failed due to sunny and hot as well weak of sickness.
In the afternoon, I left for Lauji to visit my father in law. I got him while alone. “Your mother in law has gone to attend prayers at the boma” father in law told me. I had to discuss several issues with him and later I left for home. On the way back home, I met my sister in law who was footing but a bicycle with her.
