Watching football game

After knocking off, I was at Dyeratu trading waiting for my friend Alfred. He me a certain shop with his bicycle that we used for the ground at Chikwawa community. In twenty minutes time in second half the match ended. The coming team bulled the responsible referee. Referee brew whistle for the hosting goal that made the coming team not to admit that goal. One of the coming players bulled the referee. Chikwawa police officials came to rescue that fight.

Computer problem

It was cold morning, I asked my mother to give fresh cow milk. Mum gave me 1 liter of that fresh milk. My wife prepared nice breakfast. I left for the work together with Robert. When I got o the office, I failed to work because there was no vacant computer to use.

Fairtrade premium committee meeting

Following the Fairtrade Premium inspection, committee members had the meeting to review the progress. The premium chairperson said that all members had to play a role on all activities in compliance with the FLO standards. I advised the present members that workers and the surrounding communities updated with premium activities.

Inspection notification

It was sunny morning, after taking bath my friend gave me his mobile phone to have it recharged at the office. I took breakfast and then left for the work. “Can I buy goat meat or pork? My wife asked me when she was preparing to leave for the market. “Quality depends” I told her. She too asked me if I turned up home for lunch. When I got to the office general manager, Brian called me at his office. He asked me if most of the Fairtrade issues are in place for an audit purpose. He notified me about the coming of the Fairtrade audit (inspection).

Down with fever

I did not go to work because I was down of fever. I thought was malaria and proved after hospital testing for malaria. My friend came to cheer me at home. I was feeling better at around 3pm. My wife prepared appetizer foods for me to take enough supper than I did with lunch.

Rastas persuading members

Every Monday is a market day at Dyeartu trading centre. Many people gather to buy various goods. Rastas who believe not to cut hair and not eating meat conducted their open prayers with an aim of persuading some to join their denomination. Many people asked them following their teaching about the name of the Lord Jesus.

Attended church service

Early morning my wife went to buy fresh cow milk. I woke up and cleaned the house compound. She prepared nice breakfast that I enjoyed. “Are attending church service today? She asked me. I told her that I was prepared to praise Lord. My wife and I left for the church. We knocked off at 12:35pm. When we got home, my wife prepared nsima.

Pocketless week-end

After knocking off, I left for home but I knew that there was relish problem that I could not find food to take. I had no money to buy relish. As nsima being our staple food, which is taken with relish it always not work if there is no relish. I borrowed mk200.00 from Charity. I congratulated her for that assistance.

World Bank visitor

I did not go home for lunch. I was just working hungry. After 2 hours, I sent a certain woman who was leaving for the market. I gave her Mk50 to buy me chips (French Fries) from a roadside kiosk.

A World Bank visitor. Members of the committee especially secretary and chairperson of both phases met the World Bank representative who came at Kasinthula to meet the members as well the administration.

Plot bought

Though I had no money, I borrowed some money from my friend to buy a plot for future use. I communicated my wife’s uncle to show me the area that was on sale. Firstly, we met the village headman responsible who advised my uncle to show me that area for he was there once. Uncle showed me and I paid for that land.

When I was leaving home, my wife was down with fever. “We don’t have relish for lunch. Try to buy for us” my told me. “I am going to send you relish. I have borrowed some money so I send you with tomato as well vegetables.” I replied what my wife wanted to know.
