Village meeting

In the morning there was breezing and later around 9am it started showering. It was then cold that most of the people wore windbreakers. I left for the work together with my friend Robert. at lunch hour I did not go home because I could not catch up with the turning time.

Village headman announced the farmers meeting of the following day. It was early morning when I heard a loud voice saying ‘Timvere! Timvere! Timvere!’ that is simply means ‘Listen! Listen! Listen! Members were informed about the meeting. Every Chinangwa resident heard the message. If a village headman wants to inform villagers about the meeting, he or she has to move along the houses while telling people with loud voice. By this way, every family has to listen to the message.
