At around 9am when it was windy Yannick and Isabel who work for Candico visited Kasinthula Cane Growers. Kasinthula Fairtrade Premium Committee warmly welcomed them. Yannick said that their main aim to visit Kasinthula was to interview almost three farmers and make films while they are involved in their cane field activities. We used general manager’s vehicle to travel to the field where three farmers interviewed. I was one of the interviewed farmers while doing hand weeding using a hoe. Christopher Makhaza and Laston Gogwe were other interviewed farmers. After interviews, they wanted to visit other Fairtrade Premium projects at Chinangwa village. They visited borehole and electrification projects and took some photos. Yannick and Isabel entered my house. My wife knew nothing, iot was around 12noon when we arrived at my home after visiting implemented projects through premium funds. All the committee members together with Yannick and Isabel entered. Yannick took some photos inside my house and at the bedroom while my youngest boy (Junior) was just staring. Yannick and Isabel left at 2:25 pm for Nchalo about 18km from Kasinthula where our canes milled.
