It was sunny with patches of clouds and was hot. The bird was swearing and land on the power line. It seemed to be so happy with the weather. That bird was catches it’s prey and eat while at the power line. It was really interesting. I was impressed with the way the bird was doing.
Weeding on rice field
Kasinthula canal that stretches from Shire River is assisting the surrounding community in various ways. One of the ways is that some people especially those who are not cane farmers are having access to this water for simple irrigation farming. They grow rice in small plots. I visited one of the rice plots where two farmers were doing hand weeding. They drive water from the canal by using the very long pipes at about 100 to 150 meters. They work day and night. This canal is assisting much these people because these small farmers get the water at free.
