Luck neighbour

At 11am, there was a rain that fell in Salumeji village only. It was wonderful when I reached home, Chinangwa village there was no rain. It was completely dry. Many rural people are this year starving with hunger than 2008’s. Many crops especially maize which are the main staple food in Malawi have already collapsed prematurely due to dryness and termites damage.

Thousands white birds
When I was going to work I found thousands of white birds (kakowa) locally called on a certain cotton field. Some birds were on mfungo trees and others landed seemed to look for their prey. When I got to the office I dealt with FTP cheque summarization.

Guided a visitor
I received a call from General Manager to guide a visitor from Illovo (Field Manager) to the Kapasule bore hole that was drilled through premium as the first project in 2004. There, we found women drawing water. It was amazing when a woman carried a container full of water on her head walking without touching it. Most of the villages’ women carry the things like firewood, containers and many without holding with their hands for a long distance.
