Following my wife sickness, I was at home doing some home chores. Even though some are technically done by women, but I tried to make everything possible. My daughter congratulated me for the nice meal I prepared. “Dad you know how to cook, it’s a nice meal that I have enjoyed” my daughter, Ndaona (4) said.

Most of the church leaders are not committed to do what the holy bible they use direct them to fulfill. One of the leaders was just promoted to overseer after elected by the church members. The other branch leader who was not elected as he was expected told the church members that he decided to resign. He told members that he could not be under that chosen overseer because he was the one who was legible.
The wanted rain
It was hot and sunny as well some patches of clouds. Nobody expected to have rain. At around 10am, it was lucky hour when the rain started by side and side of the area. It rained step by step until late hour. It continued the other day from early around 3am. It was indeed the good rain without frightening and thunders.
Wife fell sick
Early morning around 2am, my wife fell sick and it was crucial indeed. I called the driver to pick her to Chikwawa hospital where she was treated. The major problem was that she was feeling headache. It was still raining when left for hospital and backed home.
Following my wife illness I failed to go to Blantyre to attend classes. I prepared breakfast school children and wife. After taking that breakfast, I left for the garden just to see the crop improvement due to the rain received.
The widow and her only six year daughter went to seek money at her brother in the evening around 7. when she arrived at her she wondered that the door was open. She urgently closed the door after she noticed that there was a thief. She called for help. “Mbava kuno!!! Mbava kuno!!! (a thief here!!! a thief !!!). The widower is my friend Alfred’s neighbor. He rushed to assist the woman, but unfortunately the door was broken and ran away.
Sunny and hot (no rain)
In Traditional Authority Katunga people are crying for rain that had been failing to fall for weeks. There is a certain superstition that rural people believe when rain season rain is failing to fall. They believe that some magicians are barring the rain to fall. Village headmen in my area resolved to seek the traditional doctor who could clarify those people suggested of barring rain to fall.
When I was at the office just about to pay an excuse to go home just because there was a blackout, I received a call from General Manager, Bryan Namata that he wanted me at his office. When I got in, he advised me to guide the Concern Universal visitors who were inside the office. All three visitors accompanied me to Chinangwa, Mthumba, Salumeji, Iso and Lauji villages. When I asked them their main interest of visiting they told me that they wanted to see themselves the villages’ setup in order to implement some of the preferred projects by the rural communities.
Standard 1 School children knocked off
When visitors and I arrived at the school the standard one children pupils were just knocking off. Visitors discussed with the deputy head teacher. The teacher was asked to explain some of the measures the school implemented in environmental and sanitation for school children to understand. “We have different clubs which deal with environment, Aids activities as well wildlife and we also indicated these as subjects” the deputy head teacher explained. When the teacher was interviewed I was taking photos of the just knocking standard one children and later encouraged them to work extra hard and prevent unnecessary absenteeism.
Following my study research, I remained alone at the office typing my the collections of my diary. The blast of the Chinangwa village transformer, I had been working mostly during odd hours. As I am writing March exams in Rural and Community Development diploma 2, I am always trying my best level typing my research collections. On this day I had to work up to 10pm. I managed traveling home by using my father’s motorcycle that I borrowed in the morning.
Attempted rainfall
At around 12midnight the sky was fully covered with thick clouds. It seemed to rain. At this hour I wasn’t asleep because I was going through updated research. There came some drops of rain. It was about to heavily as was seen. It was sad to notice the failure of that rain.
