One of the Chinangwa based cane farmer was almost to divorce his two wives for cane theft. These two women are married to one man. The man is one of the Kasinthula Cane farmers. His two wives went to work on their cane plot. They were caught with lots of cut pieces of canes wrapped on their chitenjes (a 2m cloth). On the way to Kasinthula office with cane guards, both women escaped. The husband learnt from the office’s HR about that development. When a family member belonging to a cane farmer is found guilty especially cane theft, the shareholder is deducted a certain percentage from his or her advances. Kamfosi demanded both wives to leave houses for their parental homes.
