Woman constable sentenced to 54 months

The woman constable was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment for assaulting and kidnapping a baby belonging to the assaulted woman. The constable said she agreed with mother to the baby to buy it and she paid a deposit of Mk200.00. The woman constable was found guilty for assaulting and attempting adoption.

School reports worried my brother

Two children belonging to elder brother son and daughter are studying at one school. On holiday, my brother received the school results but were both poor. He called me to assist these children in supporting and advising them the strategies to follow in order to pass with flying colours.son-in-uniform

Pregnant woman struggled

I was asleep and someone came to waken me up. When I heard a knock, I got out and met the husband whose wife was almost at labour. “Please can you contact the Kasinthula driver to ferry my wife to the hospital because things are at critical point”. the husband asked me. I failed to assist him because there was no air time in my mobile phone.

A woman arm amputated

A certain church scheduled women to meet every 17 hours. One of the husbands to these women was angry with that exercise. The man had been advising his wife to stop attending that service for she was always coming home late in the evening instead of doing home chores like preparing supper. On this day, the woman came home late in the evening. The man was already around at home from the work. He was so angry. He started bulling the wife and hit her with a heavy load and she fainted. Some neighbouring members flocked to rescue the woman. They referred her to police and then to hospital. The arm was amputated with that heavy load.

 

Widow rejected job offer

A woman whose husband was one of the Kasinthula Cane Growers but passed last year was attempted. The man who works as a field time keeper got the woman at her home. He persuaded the widow to be employed through his ability. The woman noticed that it was a temptation because the man was once proposed that woman to fall in secret love, but she rebuffed. The woman absolutely assured the man to deny of the job offer.

Young couple divorced

Teenagers who married few months ago have divorced. A young boy under teenager married a very young girl almost 13 years old. It was so sympathetic to Chinangwa village experiencing very young couple instead of continuing with their education. They have just married late last year in December. By then the woman had been staying at her parents’ house as well the man.

Premium bank statement

At 9 am, I was advised to take bank statements. I went to Nchalo at National Bank of Malawi. I submitted my request and advised to wait for only 10 minutes. I was back at the office at around noon hour.

 

Took a bottle of coke

Robert took me for lunch at a nearby shop. I had no money for lunch, but Robert told me to leave for a certain shop to buy drinks. I was satisfied as the day’s lunch.

Chips and three pieces of liver

At lunch hour, I left for Dyeratu to take lunch. I boarded the Accountant’s vehicle that dropped me at Dyeratu. I enjoyed locally fried chips and three pieces of goat liver which cost Mk60.00.

 

Elod Kafaukoma Junior

My young son Junior was just crying before going to bed. “He has already taken supper; I don’t know what the problem is”. My wife complained. I went to buy a bottle of fanta that made him calm.

Two wives almost divorced

116One of the Chinangwa based cane farmer was almost to divorce his two wives for cane theft. These two women are married to one man. The man is one of the Kasinthula Cane farmers. His two wives went to work on their cane plot. They were caught with lots of cut pieces of canes wrapped on their chitenjes       (a 2m cloth). On the way to Kasinthula office with cane guards, both women escaped. The husband learnt from the office’s HR about that development. When a family member belonging to a cane farmer is found guilty especially cane theft, the shareholder is deducted a certain percentage from his or her advances. Kamfosi demanded both wives to leave houses for their parental homes.

Mum’s assistance

It was beautiful cool and cloudy morning. I was financially embarrassed to get the money for breakfast. I got my mum at her residence asking her to provide me with one chicken so that I could enjoy the meal. “I am just giving you this Mk500.00, but not chicken because some of them are just laying eggs for future production”. mum expressed. It was a good consideration for me because with that money I managed to buy fresh meat goat (0.5 kg), tomato and onions. I praised my mum for the assistance.

 

Welcome wife

Late in the afternoon at around 6, I received a call from my wife. She was notifying me that she just leaving Ngabu where she attended prayers for home Chinangwa village. I went to welcome her at Dyeratu Trading centre.

Cleaning home

As I was alone while wife was at Ngabu, I prepared breakfast. I bought fresh cow milk and enjoyed the tea with boiled pumpkin. After taking breakfast, I started cleaning the home compound.

 

Drunkard fought sober man

Around 7 pm, three drunkards went to meet Samu at his home. One of the drunkards wanted Samu to owe him his Mk300.00. “Today I don’t have money to owe your balance, may be tomorrow” Samu expressed. When they got Samu they brought with them 1 liter of kachaso (local brewed beer). They did not agree on whatever Samu said. Felix, one of the drunkards fought Samu and in revenging he broke the 1 liter bottle of kachaso. It was a fight indeed and bleeding amongst them.
