My friend who basically stays at Lauji village about 4 km from home (Chinangwa) whose father had been considering for several times was advised to be independent and stays away from his father’s home. He was once given school fees and he misused. His parents were so furious when they learnt that he fell in love with a certain woman who used to take beer in bars with different men. He was ordered by his parents to abandon the woman but it held no more water. His father chased him. He just married the woman without parental concept.
This friend got me home complaining about the run shot of white maize (staple food) at exiling home. “My friend I am failing to meet the daily basic needs for my wife and me myself. I really don’t know what to do. My father told me that I am longer his son” complained my friend. “You can only apologize your parents if you abandon your wife. You remember this woman is not faithful, that’s why your parents did not welcome her as daughter in law” I advised him.
