It was cloudy, cold and partly showering. At 10 am, we received the Regional Liaison officer and the newly recruited FLO Liaison Officer for Malawi, Aubrey Nyasulu. Simon’s main visit was to introduce FLO Liaison Officer for Malawi Aubrey Nyasulu. Committee members welcomed them. After discussions Simon Banda and Aubrey Nyasulu left back for Blantyre at 11:45 am left for Blantyre to process the Renewal Certification fee. After Fairtrade Labeling Organization’s inspection and renewal certification, it is usually required to pay a fee for the exercise. I left at 1:30 pm, for National Bank in Blantyre to advise the bank transferring the required amount as fee. After processing I further asked the April to June 31st bank statements for Kasinthula Fairtrade Premium easy reconciliation.
Sugar sales invoices
In the morning when I just arrived at the work, General Manager Brian advised me to prepare three invoices for the Fairtrade sugar which was docking in UK on this day for Silver Spoon Company. The sent invoices were worthy lots of premium that insures more development projects to be implemented for the Kasinthula Cane Growers surrounding community to benefit.
