Robert and I just soon after knocking off at 12noon agreed to visit the cane field where the cane harvest was taking place. We shared one full burnt cane and crack. Some of the cane cutters were already out of the field for they finished their given tasks. One, whom Robert and I interviewed said that he would not finish because his area had lots more canes than anybodyelse. It was around 1:48 pm, when he was tackling just half of his given task. Cutting or harvesting sugarcanes is really a tough job.
“At the crack of dawn I was here starting together with my friends on our respective tasks. If I am not today finish, it doesn’t mean I am only lazy but the accumulation of canes on my task” the cane cutter said while complaining.

It very sad Thursday evening when I heard that Peter’s mother passed away. Peter is one of the Kasinthula’s drivers. It was very sorry for Peter lost his father a couple of years ago. Peter’s mother was one of the Kasinthula Cane Growers.
The burial ceremony took place on July 10 at around 4 pm. The preacher at the ceremony belong to certain denomination related Lazarus the poor and the rich man. Most people were so impressed with that explanation. It was very sympathetic for most of the cane farmers have passed away during just couple of years.
No power no work
In the morning when everybody was just switching on computer to starting working, there was a sudden power disconnection. It was not an absolute problem for Kasinthula workers only because we all went to attend the funeral ceremony for Peter’s mother. We had power access in evening when it was becoming dark that most of the people who use electricity as source of power were looking for candles to use for lighting.

This came to be a blow to my family because she is at the stage that she might not catch malaria almost every month. It is my threat upon her life. My wife advised me to take her to Blantyre to meet a prophet who she learnt that even HIV/AIDs is healed as well critical cancer. She believed to have the daughter asthma and interval malarial problems be cured. I have most of the times spent money in caring her whenever admitted of asthma and malaria.
My wife, Bertha believed that Ndaona would be cured. She left in the morning and boarded bus for Blantyre. She informed me at around 10 am when she safely arrived Blantyre. She had a rest at her elder sister’s house waiting the service day in the following morning.

They did not referred to Chikwawa because their parents are working within the organization. The suffers were their parents because they were punished by deducting their monthly salaries for the canes stolen.
After 20 minutes two thieves brought the office with burnt and fresh canes. These two were referred to Chikwawa police. Most of the surrounding people steal canes mainly for sell raw canes and even just cracking as their day’s meal in starving of hunger.
