I received the letter from the just formed organization. I was invited to attend the which the organization conducted. I arrived the scheduled place in time that’s at 2 pm. The group welcomed me. They told me that some of the village members decided to establish a Community Based Organization aiming at helping needy specifically old aged, orphans and HIV/ Aids patients just within the community.
The chairman of this CBO announced that members agreed to appoint me as the board chairman for the organization. I welcomed the position, but I urged them to work so extra hard to source funds and be fair and transparency in all dimensions in order to achieve the organization’s mission.
