We left Friday late in afternoon, around 8 pm for Ntcheu district where the tombstone unveiling ceremony for late grandfather took place. We arrived our destination at 1:54 am. Everybody was tired of the 3.5 tone truck we boarded. Some people slept soon after our arrival. I did not sleep for I was just listening to the radio playing various morning drizzling music.

Women cried at the tomb
Traditionally, the village headman Masese of Ntcheu where the tombstone unveiling ceremony was taking place advised women to their custom ready before finishing the ceremony. The group of women and men led by the village headman while contributing some money on top of the tomb for the builders to share. Women were crying showing sorrow in memory of the late grandfather.
