2nd wife fled

My mother’s sister’s son, Nkhonde might born unfortunate. He married the first wife in Mozambique. The wife spent only two months and then she fled at 4 am for her home. He went with other elders to negotiate but the wife refused to go back to her husband’s home without valid reasons.

On this day it was like unfortunate when another wife he married in Malawi spent two weeks only and left when she pretended to draw water while the husband was at the garden. The wife packed her clothes and paid an excuse to the neighbouring family that she was going to wash. The husband followed her at the stream where he thought she might be there washing. He asked other village women who were at the stream washing. He was told that they saw her heading a certain way that made the boy realizing that she was heading back to her home, Fombe village.

He followed her on his bicycle and found her footing just about arriving her home. When asked, the wife responded nothing. She just told her mother that she did not like the place where the husband lives.
