Woman hit her husband’s forehead

A family with 8 children but is my neighbour were both drunk, the husband and wife. They used to drunk together each and every time. They used to quarrel whenever they are drunk. It was around 9 pm, when they quarreled for an hour. They even discomfort the surrounding houses. “Mayi ndafa” “(I am dead)” the man cried. Other people and I went to witness what happened. We found that the thick of blood was flowing from the forehead covering both eyes. When asked he said that his wife hit him by the heavy wood. Others criticized the man for taking kachaso (locally brewed but dangerous beer) together with his wife. On the scene they were all drunk. The man sustains the heavy forehead dip wound.

Cement goes missing

It very sympathetic to learn that one of the Kasinthula’s development committee found stealing two bags of cement as to other side one of the field bosses stole two bags of cement. One of the store keepers reported to the accountant about the issuing of the suspected drawn cement. There was a thorough follow until both of them found that they stole cement. One member of the committee was called for hearing by fellow members and advised to stop participate any development activity. The staff member is just pending judgment from the management whether dismissal or refund of the stolen cement.

A serious lecture

When I got the school campus there were only twelve classmates already in. They were just discussing some past exam papers. I joined them discussing. The Project Management lecture got in. He firstly advised us to photocopy project management modules for us to keep studying so hard. He lectured from 8:30 am, until 2 pm. He was alone the whole day. I was only happy because I prefer project management as the only best subject to work so extra hard various reasons. We knocked off at 2:12 pm. I borrowed the management modules to photocopy them in Blantyre city at a certain bureau.

My aspired field

I was one day asking the University Of Malawi’s lecturers for Bunda College of Agriculture about the filed to major more when I shall start degree programme in March 2010. I asked him which field best to major between Social Science and Project Management. He advised me it would be better for me to major in Project Management in degree programme. With references he encouraged me to work hard in project management. I was not happy when I was at school starting learning until knock off hour without the project management’s lecturer attending our class.

Woman stabbed

It was morning around 6 am, when I went to cheer my friend’s wife who was admitted at Chikwawa hospital. I saw a woman failed to walk herself soon after boarded off from Ambulance. I asked one of the medical assistants what happened to the woman. “She is taken to the theatre because because others stabbed her this last night. She said that it was around 10 pm, when she was passing by a certain bush heading her home when two men appeared to her from the bush and forced her to have sex. She continued saying that she cheated that she was running menstrual period but it held no more water. Instead they just stubbed her at the below the breast and closer to the private part” the medical assistant told me. I was very sympathetic to her.

Children disagreed over human meat

The woman was just passing by the four children when she just knocked off from her work. She wondered with what those young children were urging. The woman stopped in order to get what those young ones were discussing. “I want my meat because you promised to refund it before October end” one young child said to the other. “You promised you shall soon kill your sister but up to date nothing happened to your sister, where do you think you are also going to get another meat to refund if you are not killing your sister?” The second child asked the pressurized one.

The woman asked those children about what they were discussing. One frankly responded that they do enjoy human meat and their friend had been enjoying others’ meet but promised to refund until the scheduled time was not accomplishing the promises. “What did this friend of your promised?” asked the woman. She promised to kill her only elder sister for us to enjoy her fresh, but she is not fulfilling her promises. One of them said. The woman called other nearby elders to hear themselves what those children were urging.

Heavy wind blows off roof

I just learnt from my wife that my friend’s house was brown off by heavy wind. My friend Adam whose house roofing materials were weary damaged by termites worried because he was planning to maintain it. Even though I already planned, but I am not really ready budget for the maintenance. Following the heavy wind brown the house was exposed to sun and other exhausted conditions, said my friend.

Brought nothing from South Africa

Our workmate left Kasinthula Cane Growers for South Africa where he was deceived that he might brought a vehicle after doing pieces of work as he perceived. He spent two years in SA without coming back to home. It was worrisome to hear from other people that he came in October end but he was just hiding in Blantyre failing to reach Chikwawa because he was ashamed of what he was talking before he left that Malawi is poor and he was going to bring his own vehicle from SA.

Two thieves left 8 cattle

It just learnt when I was about to leave for the work that there were 8 cattle found and kept by other well wishers. Some two thieves from Rodrick village stole 8 cattle from the family headed by a woman following her husband’s death three years ago. At around 4 am, some chinangwa based men who were preparing to leave for the work in cane fields mainly doing irrigation saw 8 cattle driven by the down end of the village heading to the trading centre where most of the stolen cattle are sold.

When they realized that others had seen them they left the cattle and hid. Those who were going to work driven the cattle back to the village headman and kept there until the owner came late in the afternoon. The woman was just crying when she noticed that all 8 cattle were stolen during odd hours from her compound. She congratulated those who rescued her cattle.

Wife and two sons attended church services

We were together when they left at Dyeratu depot. They were going to church whereas I was going to Blantyre attending classes. My wife called me if I was in Blantyre for she wanted to remind me buying her Irish potatoes for breakfast. My young son Elod Kafaukoma Jr likes roasted Irish potatoes normally called chips.

I was descending to Chikwawa at 4:35 just soon after classes. My friend Lameck escorted me at CI deport for Blantyre-Chikwawa buses.
