I paid an excuse to stay home for I worked the whole day without resting. “Are you going to work?” my wife asked. I told her that I was supposed to pay an excuse for I was tired working in Blantyre.
When I was home my son Elod Jr forced me to play him music by Chameleon of Uganda on which dogs a dog and cat dance. My son is always carried away when he sees the artist on TV screen.

It was not encouraging day. I finished preparing Kasinthula Fairtrade sales invoices. I spent the whole day trying to send those prepared invoices but I failed.
I left for Blantyre at around lunch hour just to access internet using cafe. I worked up to 4:00pm. I was arriving home at around 8pm.

The unfaithful woman excused to leave for home to visit parents at her home. The woman left at 9:00am and boarded minibus. Before leaving she stood with a man whom the husband had been suspecting that they were in secret love.
Late in the afternoon the husband followed the wife and hid at a certain shop just to find out if it was true that the man caught was in love with his wife. He was surprised to see his wife socializing with the suspected man at the woman’s village. He just followed the two until the booked a room at a certain rest house. It was a very shame when they were forced to get out of the room. Men started fighting and the woman escaped left the blood fight. The husband won the fight because other surrounding people assisted him bulling the immoral man.

The heavy rain started at around 3:00am with thunders and flash of frightening. I woke up at around 6am. The rain was still falling and made people not move out from their homes. I put on my rain coat left for Dyeratu to board minibus for Blantyre to attend classes.
I managed to move from home but I failed to cross a river that was full of rain water. The flowing of the rain water made more not cross. I decided to go back home.

I was in my office reconciling Fairtrade Premium bank statements. I received a call from the Fairtrade Premium Committee that on the committee.
The Committee wanted to know the progress on answering some queries from FLO-CERT. I explained the stand I was with the issues. I advised the Premium Committee to discuss much about the 2010-2011 budget and workplan. “The 2010-2011 budget should be followed and all proposed projects to be implemented to be handled so professionally.

It was the ceremony that attracted many surrounding communities. The two ministers graced the ceremony.
CU is sensitising the community to plant more trees by providing them with seedlings and advice. In each and every village in the area was asked to have the club nurseries. The ceremony that took place at William village was very beautiful. Officials representing the forest, CU and various nongovernmental organizations attended the ceremony. Concern Universal is playing very potential role to people living in Kasinthula surrounding area.
The community is accessing safe and clean water drilled by Concern Universal. Some villages were starving to get good water but they are now congratulating CU for their lives improvement.

Three had been suspected in the area that they were stealing cattle. They stole one cow from Chapananga. They had been at large for almost three weeks. The police officers were tipped that one of them was hiding at a certain rest house with a bargirl.
The two were enclosed in a room taking supper. The police officers knocked and ordered them to out. The man was arrested left the bargirl alone. The man’s wife was so worried when she learnt that her husband was caught hidden with a sex worker and she did not cheer him at the police station.

After just descending the Shire Highlands from Blantyre to Chikwawa there is a Lisuli lagoon where day and night people fish. In this lagoon there are crocodiles.
One day the village headman called all people in the village. The leader advised people to stop fishing and wait for almost 3 months in order to let small fish grow. He cautioned that anyone found fishing during night would be severe punished.
Some three men went for fishing just 2 days after cautioned by the village headman. It was really unfortunate that the big crocodile attacked them. One man was caught by the crocodile. His two friends tried to rescue him but it really tough when it left the rescued one and caught the second person who was trying to rescue the first caught man. The first one lost both arms but it was sorry for the second person had both legs and arms amputated. The two were referred to Chikwawa hospital for help.

People in Lower Shire (Nsanje and Chikwawa) lacked the good rain from November up to January which the growing period. Many various crops dried up.
I planted sesame but it did not help for it just dried up. Those who depend on cotton as the area’s cash crop have nothing to do with the exhausted condition experienced.
It was just wonderful when people received heavy rain good planting. Other people decided to replant but others did not for they were tired of unstable weather experienced.

“What are we eating to comply with valentine’s situation” asked my wife. “I have just prepared to buy goat meat so that you and me should celebrate with family and this would my love to you despite that I don’t have enough money” I told my wife.
She cooked a nsima with goat meat that we all enjoyed at lunch. We left for cane field to see the cane progress on our plot and later proceeded to the water reservoir (dam) for Kasinthula.
